A woman’s life has sadly been lost as the result of a motor vehicle crash near Dunvale, Texas. In addition, four other people have suffered injuries in the crash. According to authorities, the accident was the result of another individual’s decision to drink and drive.
Events leading up to the fatal crash
The reported fatal incident took place at about 2 a.m. on a recent Wednesday. Police said an intoxicated driver was going in the wrong direction on a tollway and ended up striking another car. A woman in the second car passed away from the injuries she sustained in the collision.
Three other individuals in the second automobile suffered critical injuries in the wreck and were taken to the hospital. In addition, the reportedly intoxicated driver suffered injuries in the collision and was transported to a medical center as well. Authorities said he will face an intoxication manslaughter charge in connection with the fatal crash.
